Addition of seaweed flour (Lithothamnium calcareum) combined with homeopathic feed for broiler chickens decreases the toxic effects caused by aflatoxin B1

The aim of this study was to determine whether a combination seaweed flour (Lithothamnium calcareum) and homeopathic added broiler feed has hepatoprotective effect capable minimizing the negative impacts aflatoxin B1 toxicosis. We used birds one day divided into four groups with six repetitions per group 20 repetition in completely randomized design. + product identified as test (TP). were PC: intake 300 µg/kg AFB1 (positive control); PC+TP: 2 g/kg TP; NC: that received control feed; TP: supplemented TP. PC+TP, NC TP had higher body weights on days 35 42 than PC group. This same also observed for daily weight gain conversion 1–42 days. A villus: crypt relationship TP, compared PC. combined minimizes effects liver health broilers consequently avoids losses zootechnical performance.
